Art lovers headed to the retrospective painting

exhibition showcasing late artist Dr. Krishna

Reddy’s works at Nehru Art Gallery, College

of Fine Arts on Monday. The exhibits were

selected artworks of the artist who garnered

fame for his prints and sculptures in his lifetime.

His contribution to the contemporary art is highly recognised in the world, but lesser known to Telugu world of art, especially among the younger generation of Indian artists. His experiments and scientific approach with printmaking brought new vocabulary to contemporary art.

The exhibition will go on till December 6. The event was organised by Hyderabad Art Society, Telangana Artist Forum in collaboration with Sir JJ School of Art, Mumbai.
